– Over 50 years of experience in the production of ornamental plants –
Vivai Piante Masetti Sabino was founded at the end of the 1960’s by Mr. Sabino and is currently run by his two sons, Daniele and Gianna.
Since that time we grow ornamental trees and shurbs for outdoor use in Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy.
Our production is based on typical Mediterranean plants suh as Quercus Ilex, Cupressus Sempervirens, Arbutus Unedo, ever green magnolia, magnolia for flowers, along with conifers (Cedrus, taxus, pinus, abies and picea in many varieties) and new items that each year the market needs for example multistems, topiary and new shapes which Daniele and his staff create.
Our goal is to satisfy every customers request with our own production without forget that we are growers. This means a constant link with the land focused on the the phylosophy to create a finished product which could be harmonious, healthy and well developped. This all involves continuous checks of good fertilization, regular pruning, replanting every three or four years and continuous attention to technological, commercial and horticultural innovations. Our plant nurseries are certified “XYLELLA-FREE” by the Italian plant protection service and possess the authorizations for the export of palms, pinus, quercus and prunus in the European areas where they are required thanks to the continuous controls to which they are submitted by the Regional Phytosanitary Service.
Masetti Sabino nurseries also boast the MPS certification (CODE 804024), reflecting the constant search for sustainable production while respecting the environment.
